About the role

Assist the Men's Tennis program with organizing, planning, and coaching the team during practices and match-days. Support student-athlete development, identify and recruit prospective athletes, and manage program operations and fundraising.

Job Summary

This position will assist the Men Tennis program/Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Men’s Tennis team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who is looking for a career in college coaching and is interested in assisting the coaching staff in all aspects of running a Division I tennis program.

  • Essential Functions
  • Assist the Men's Tennis team during practices and match-days
  • Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically
  • Identify and recruit prospective student-athletes
  • Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics
  • Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Valid Driver’s License.

Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former collegiate tennis player.
  • Interest in a career in college coaching.

This position is classified as Exempt. Compensation for this grade will vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
