As a Substitute Teacher at Global Village Academy, you will provide meaningful instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Using the teacher's lesson plans and curriculum, you will foster a productive and safe learning environment, maintain classroom routines, and support student success throughout the school day. Essential
Report to the Front Desk/Administrative Assistant upon arrival. Maintain established classroom routines and expectations. Implement lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher and follow the school curriculum. Monitor student behavior in the classroom and during transitions or other school activities. Take daily attendance and maintain any other necessary records. Follow all school policies and procedures applicable to regular teachers. Communicate with the regular classroom teacher and/or school administration regarding student progress or concerns. Ensure the classroom is left clean and organized at the end of the day. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
