We are seeking a PART TIME School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse to join our school located in Greensburg at 555 Rial Lane Greensburg, PA 15601.
Earn: Up to $25 per hour
The School Nurse is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who provides high-quality, compassionate health care to students in a school setting. Working under the direct supervision of the School Program Director, the School Nurse ensures that all health-related policies and procedures are implemented effectively and safely The School Nurse plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment where all children feel safe, supported, and cared for with empathy and professionalism.
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols.
Ensuring proper storage, documentation, and safety of all medications and medical supplies.
Adhering to standard precautions and infection control guidelines to promote a safe and healthy environment.
Managing incidents and critical events through timely reporting and appropriate follow-up procedures.
Responding promptly and sensitively to students’ health needs, offering calm, compassionate care in both routine and urgent situations.
Collaborating with school staff, families, and external healthcare providers to support the physical and emotional well-being of each child.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program with a current LPN license in Pennsylvania. Experience working with children with autism is preferred.
