The personal trainer will create tailored exercise and fitness plans for clients and monitor their progress. They will also educate clients on diet and nutrition while ensuring safe exercise practices.
Candidates must have a high school degree and a nationally recognized personal trainer certification. First aid, CPR, and AED training are also required, along with excellent communication skills.
Lead and monitor clients throughout a workout plan tailored to their fitness goals with an Encouraging and patient attitude. Evaluate, Chart, and Track the client's Progress, fitness level, and skill set to plan reachable goals. Counsel and educate clients on Diet, nutrition, and exercise. Ensure equipment use and physical exercises are performed safely, while weight lifting and training. Demonstrate and encourage correct warm-up and stretching techniques to avoid injury. Education/Experience/Training/Certifications High school degree or equivalent. First aid, CPR, and AED training and certification are required. A minimum of one nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, NETA, NPTI, NSCA, W.I.T.S) is required. Must have knowledge of physical fitness, kinesiology, and physiology as it relates to strength training and overall health and wellness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Abilities & Skills Motivate and encourage clients through positive words while training. Educate a wide range of clients of all ages based on their fitness capabilities. Able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Able to work with clients who may need specialized attention due to previous injuries or health problems.
