Job description

  • Available Locations Orlando Sanford Clermont Winter Garden Kissimmee Ocoee What You'll Do Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate sports classes elementary-aged children.
  • Additional coaching opportunities are available in our preschool programs for those seeking more hours.
  • Teach fundamental sports skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment using positive reinforcement.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of every participant throughout each class.
  • Follow Amazing Athletes' curriculum while bringing your own enthusiasm and personality to every session.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and school staff while representing the Amazing Athletes brand with professionalism.
  • What We're Looking For Experience working with children in a sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp setting.
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping kids build confidence through sports.
  • An energetic, positive personality with the ability to engage and motivate children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work at least three weekdays from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
  • Additional morning coaching opportunities are available.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between program locations.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Benefits & Perks Flexible, part-time schedule that works well with school or another job.
  • Paid training and ongoing professional development including pay and reimbursement for CPR and sports certification training.
  • CPR certification assistance provided.
  • Starting Pay (Assistant Coach during training): $20/hour Coach Pay (after successful training): $25/hour Performance-based advancement opportunities with pay up to $40/hour.
