Assistant Coach

• Overview: The stipend coach will be involved with the day-to-day administration of a Division II Football program and must attend all sport-related activities as required.

Essential Duties

• Program administration: Attending and participating in staff meetings (compliance, practice planning, academic, strength & conditioning, individuals), assisting with travel arrangements for competition, managing players’ equipment needs; other administrative duties as assigned.
• Technical instruction: Attend all practices and games, filming of drills and individual sessions when necessary, maintaining statistics when needed, preparation and editing of game film and scouting reports.
• Fundraising: organize and participate in fundraising activities as assigned.
• Recruiting: Managing recruiting database, correspondence with prospective student-athletes; meeting with recruits and families when needed; talent evaluation of prospective student-athletes, managing social media presence.
• Abide by NCAA, NSIC and CSP rules and regulations and pass NCAA recruiting exam on annual basis.
• Other sport-specific duties as assigned.

Additional Demands

Position requires long hours standing and minor lifting; may require travel spent mostly on busses.

Exceptions: May require exposure to adverse weather conditions, frequently involves night and weekend hours
