About the role

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Integrate Catholic values into daily activities while maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

St. Luke Catholic Preschool is seeking loving, energetic, and faith-filled teachers for the 2026-2027 school year, including a full-time Pre-K 4s teacher. Candidates should have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to creating a nurturing, play-based learning environment rooted in Catholic values. These positions follow the school calendar and work closely with a supportive preschool team and school community.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
  • Integrate Catholic values and faith into daily classroom experiences
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support and supervise children's independence, curiosity, creativity, and readiness for Kindergarten
  • Collaborate with fellow teacher and school leadership to support student success
  • Build positive relationships and communicate with classroom families

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience working in early childhood education
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic mission of the school
  • Creates a positive, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for children, families, and colleagues
  • Strong communication and organization skills
