A bit about us: We are an easygoing, low-key family in Seattle consisting of Mom, Dad, and our energetic 1-year-old daughter. We're seeking a full-time nanny to care for our curious toddler in our home while we work. Mom may occasionally work from home, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable partnering in an environment where a parent is present from time to time. Our daughter loves exploring the world around her, reading books, listening to music, spending time outdoors, and discovering new things each day. A bit about you

You are a nurturing, engaging nanny who loves working with toddlers and understands the importance of routines, exploration, and learning through play. You enjoy planning age-appropriate activities that encourage language development, creativity, problem-solving, and growing independence. You're physically active, love spending time outdoors, and are confident keeping up with a busy toddler while creating a safe, engaging environment. You're attentive, communicative, and excited to help guide important developmental milestones through conversation, reading, music, sensory play, and everyday experiences. You're also comfortable working in a home where a parent may occasionally be present during the workday.

Job Duties

This role is primarily childcare-focused and includes planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, reading books, singing songs, encouraging language development, and spending plenty of time outdoors exploring parks and the neighborhood. You'll prepare and serve healthy toddler meals and snacks, support daily routines including naps, diaper changes, and transitions, and encourage independence with age-appropriate self-help skills. You'll maintain a safe, nurturing environment while fostering curiosity, confidence, and social-emotional growth through positive guidance and play. Qualifications

Multiple years of experience with toddlers and early childhood. Physically able to carry a toddler and navigate a multi-story home. Up to date on baby related vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, Covid, etc.) Strong, proficient English skills to support language development. Comfortable with a parent working from home during the initial months. Glowing references from recent nanny positions.
