Candidates must have a high school diploma, demonstrated training in computer software, and a valid driver's license. Successful completion of a drug test and Level II background screening is required.
Pyramid, Inc. is seeking a computer instructor to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The computer instructor we seek will teach students computer basics, including internet safety, and expand their abilities to use computer functions, the internet, social media and graphic arts to pursue their personal interests. The computer instructor must be reliable, comfortable working with people who have disabilities and committed to assisting students in reaching their full potential. This role includes stepping into DSP responsibilities, including personal care and dining, to support students when needed.
Basic knowledge of computer programs and applications (i.e. Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Canva, Social Media, etc.) and the ability to teach are musts.
