About the role

Support classroom teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with educational activities, and maintaining classroom organization.

Teacher’s Aide – Head Start Union County Community Action, Inc. Work Location- Morven Elementary, Morven, Anson County NC www.uccainc.org/careers UCCA is seeking dedicated Teacher’s Aides to support classroom teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education services toddlers and preschool-aged children.

Starting Rate

  • $14 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday 7am-3pm (40 hours/week)

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required EDU 119 or CDA Credential preferred Experience working with young children preferred CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver’s license required Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings. Physical Demands Must be able to actively assist with classroom activities, supervise children in indoor and outdoor environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
