The Assistant Coach is responsible for recruiting prospective student-athletes and coordinating their visits to campus. They also assist the Head Coach in developing game strategies, conducting training sessions, and mentoring athletes academically and personally.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience. A valid driver's license is required, and a master's degree is preferred.

The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a part-time, 12-month position as Assistant Coach, Volleyball, reporting to the Head Coach, Volleyball. This position will participate in the preparation, coordination, practice & game plan preparation, and execution of practice plans during the academic year. The assistant coach position is responsible for the identification, research of, and communication with prospective student-athletes during the calendar year. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic, personal, and career mentoring of student-athletes.
Provide mentoring to student-athletes inside and outside of practice on their academic, personal, civic, and career aspirations for the future.
Assist in other tasks as assigned by Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
