Market context

Elementary counselor roles remain steady in Tennessee

Tennessee elementary school counselor roles are typically tied to ongoing student support, attendance, and social-emotional needs, so demand often follows district staffing and student services priorities. These positions can be competitive because districts usually look for a valid Tennessee professional school counselor license, and a master’s degree plus counseling experience with under-resourced communities can strengthen an application. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your license status and tailor your experience to elementary and community-based counseling.
