About the role

Assist in the orderly functioning of the classroom to provide a supportive social-emotional environment for children. Support the teaching team in expanding the ability of children to learn and grow within the Head Start program.

Pay range

  • $18.00 - $18.94 hourly, dependent upon education

Position Summary

This position works as part of a teaching team to assist in the orderly functioning of the classroom to provide an appropriate social-emotional environment in order to expand the child's ability to learn and grow. Position may involve the reassignment to various classrooms/centers as deemed necessary for program operations.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a specific early childhood credential, such as a CDA or an Associate/Bachelor's degree. Candidates must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certifications and pass criminal background checks and health screenings.
