The teacher assistant will provide direct educational services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include conducting integrative activities, maintaining class schedules, and documenting individual progress.
$16.00/hourly Job Responsibilities Assist teacher and Conduct activities that meet the needs of each individual (Integrative Activities). Assure class schedules and other routines are followed. Assist in the development of activities for week-ends and holidays. Assist in basic care of individuals, including instruction in such skills. Collect appropriate data as assigned. Record progress of individuals as assigned. All other duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience High School diploma or G.E.D. with at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities A Valid driver’s license in state of residence may be required.

(OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities) Drug testing Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
