Orangewood Christian School is seeking a full-time Upper School Supervision & Aftercare Assistant to provide student supervision and support for grades 7–12 throughout the school day and during after-school care. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered environment by building positive relationships with students, reinforcing school expectations, and serving as a Christian role model within the OCS community. The Upper School Supervision & Aftercare Assistant will supervise students during lunch, WIN (What I Need) time, dismissal, and aftercare, while also assisting the Upper School administrative team with clerical and operational tasks as needed. Support: · Supervise Upper School students (grades 7–12) during lunch periods, WIN time, dismissal, and aftercare. · Maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for students at all times. · Monitor student behavior and ensure compliance with school expectations, policies, and procedures. · Build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. · Address minor student concerns using appropriate, age-appropriate correction and redirection. · Document and report behavioral concerns, safety issues, or other student-related concerns to the Upper School Assistant Principal. · Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and behavioral matters. · Ensure students appropriately care for shared spaces by cleaning up after themselves and leaving areas neat and orderly. · Assist students with homework completion and provide encouragement and support during aftercare as needed. · Maintain accurate attendance records for aftercare, including student arrival and departure times. · Independently manage assigned supervision responsibilities while exercising good judgment and awareness of student needs.
