Market context

California project-based therapy roles stay selective

Project-based mental health therapist roles in California often draw steady interest because providers need clinicians who can support children and families while meeting licensure and early-childhood experience requirements. Competition is shaped by the need for a master’s or doctoral degree, California BBS or BOP eligibility, and prior work with children ages 0–5. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure path and prepare examples of early-childhood therapy work before applying.
