Support elementary teachers and staff by maintaining organized office spaces, libraries, and lounges. Assist with classroom tasks, student supervision during lunch and transitions, and administrative duties like record keeping and scheduling assessments.

Description MUST DO Support and assist the Elementary Teachers by ensuring the elementary teacher’s lounge, library, and office is efficient and organized for all elementary staff, students, and families.
Assist teachers in the classroom, make copies, and laminate materials as needed. Assist the elementary administrative assistant, helping with phone calls, visitors, and student needs. Assist the LCES nurse with care and in the Elementary Library when needed. Help maintain student records, ensuring they are current. Keep the teacher’s lounge clean and stocked. Assist with lunch duty, monitoring children in the lunchroom. Organize lost and found items. Assist with student pick-up and drop-off, monitoring guests as they enter/exit the building. Coordinate and schedule new student assessments. Record professional development points for teachers. Assist with Honor Roll and End of Year awards and certificates.
