The Education Assistant supports young adults with intellectual disabilities in developing independent living skills and integrating into campus and community life. Responsibilities include providing instruction on domestic tasks, meal preparation, and self-advocacy within a residential setting.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with people with disabilities are preferred. A valid New York State driver's license is mandatory.
Full-time, Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm Part-time, Monday - Friday 4pm-9pm Part-time, Weekends available
HS Diploma or GED Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in related field and some experience working with people with disabilities, preferred. Valid NYS drivers license is required.
