Job description

  • As a talent partner, you will select staff for designated departments as determined by the hiring manager.
  • You will complete background checks on all applicants and conduct reference checks as needed.
  • Responsibilities include prescreening résumés, forwarding qualified candidates to the department, and arranging and participating in interviews.
  • You will then evaluate candidates and collaborate with supervisors to make the best selection.
  • Among other duties, you will extend formal offers of employment, initiate paperwork for new hires, and maintain applicant files for reference and retention.
  • In this role, you will maintain the confidentiality of all human resources information throughout the entire recruiting and hiring process.
  • You will collaborate with hiring supervisors to determine staffing needs and identify appropriate venues for advertising open positions.
  • Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of contacts with organizations, agencies, and the community for recruitment purposes.
  • Among other duties, you will participate in recruitment-related fairs, conferences, and events.
  • You will also write and edit advertisements as needed and complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications: · Bachelor's degree

· At least two years of experience in human resources and higher education

· Proven results in recruitment utilizing various social media platforms

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: · Valid driver's license

Travel required: · 10–20%

Work hours

  • The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
  • Most offices are open
  • Monday through
  • Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
