  • SUMMARY: This is a full-time, 75 hours per pay period position, with typical hours of

  • Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Saturday work may be required for student testing. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting and assisting the CNA Training Coordinator and the CNA RN with all aspects of the CNA program. S/he will schedule students for training, clinicals, obtaining their badges, and testing. S/he will create and complete attendance sheets and communicate attendance and schedules with Chattanooga State. S/he will order supplies, maintain inventory of supplies, and purchase approved items for the program. S/he will perform all relevant tasks to support the program. This may include giving tours, developing signage, creating spreadsheets, compiling curriculum, creating PowerPoint presentations, scheduling trainers, and an untold number of other duties. S/he will consistently clean and sanitize the CNA training and testing areas, including restrooms. The Compliance & Training Department supports all other departments at Orange Grove and works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. As such, the person in this position must continually demonstrate a superb work ethic, maintain confidentiality, display professionalism and leadership attributes, and uphold the mission, policies, and procedures of Orange Grove Center. This is a newly created position and duties and assignments will change and fluctuate.   • REQUIREMENTS: Good overall physical health and personal stamina. Physical examination, including TB skin test or chest x-ray, is required before employment. Must be able to work in an office and classroom environment and be able to lift 25 pounds as needed.
