The Assistant Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, nurturing learning environment for young children. They support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of students through hands-on learning experiences.

Position Details

Qualifications

  • Genuine passion for the education, development, and care of young children
  • Minimum of six months of professional teaching experience required
  • 6 or more Early Childhood Education (ECE) units preferred
  • Infant/Toddler Development units preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, patient, and nurturing attitude
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed to support children and classroom activities
  • Ability to bend, squat, and actively engage with children throughout the day
