Position Summary

Athletic Trainer, Certified - Shelby County High School (Flexible/Varying Schedule) New graduates are welcome, mentoring will be provided. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient education services while collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting overall patient wellness. Responsibilities

Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries according to professional standards of practice Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families on treatment plans and injury prevention Independently make decisions that positively impact patient health and quality of life Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with billing procedures when applicable Participate in performance improvement initiatives, educational programs, and community outreach events Assist with special events and injury prevention education programs outside of the clinic setting as needed Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude in all interactions Support patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist or Medical Doctor when applicable Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including varying shifts and occasional event support
