Current openings: Paraprofessional POSITION OVERVIEW Providing assistance to teachers, students, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the school setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ● The staff will work under the direct supervision of the principal to provide support as needed on the campus. ● Assists in duties such as making copies, delivering materials, and other projects, as needed. ● Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch periods and field trips. ● Assist in the drop-off and pick-up of children through Driveline, possibly during inclement weather. How Driveline Operates at LTS (video) ● Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers. How Driveline Works at LTS. ● Alerts the regular teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student. ● May assist staff and students in use of educational computer programs. ● Performs other related duties as required by the supervisor which do not require any professional skills. ● May periodically work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
