Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer and multisport activities for children aged 12 months to 13 years. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment while communicating professionally with parents and teachers.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Experience in early childhood education, daycare, or youth coaching is highly preferred.
As a Soccer Stars Coach, you'll use your communication and child development skills to create exciting learning experiences through sports. Responsibilities include: Arrive prepared and on time for every class Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Build confidence through positive reinforcement and individualized instruction Help children develop teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches Participate in ongoing training while following the Soccer Stars Coaching Curriculum Our goal is simple: ensure every child leaves class smiling, confident, and excited to come back next week.
We're looking for caring, dependable individuals who enjoy helping children succeed. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Willingness to travel to local schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island Ability to successfully complete a background check Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is highly valued: Preschool or Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Teaching Substitute Teaching Teaching Assistant or Paraprofessional Daycare or Childcare Camp Counseling Youth Coaching Physical Education Exercise Science Kinesiology Athletics or organized sports A passion for working with young children—especially ages 1–5—is essential. The more flexible your schedule and travel availability, the more coaching opportunities you'll have.
