Volunteer Assistant Soccer Coach

Wesleyan College is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to serve as a Volunteer Assistant Soccer Coach. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring coach to gain valuable experience in collegiate athletics while contributing to the development and success of the soccer program.

The Volunteer Assistant Coach will assist the coaching staff with all aspects of training and competition, including attending practices and matches, supporting the technical, tactical, and physical development of student-athletes, and helping implement training sessions and game strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the game of soccer, possess effective communication skills, and be able to clearly convey coaching concepts and tactical instruction to student-athletes.

Although this is an unpaid volunteer position, it provides meaningful opportunities for professional growth through hands-on experience in collegiate athletics, mentorship from experienced coaches, exposure to the daily operations of an NAIA athletic program, and valuable networking opportunities within the coaching profession.

Requirements

Candidates must have a strong understanding of soccer and effective communication skills to convey tactical instructions. Motivation and knowledge of the game are essential for this volunteer role.
