Assist teaching staff in maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. Support daily routines including mealtimes, diapering, and the implementation of learning activities.

Assists teaching staff with various duties in the infant and/or toddler classrooms in accordance with grant standards, childcare licensing regulations, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), OCDC’s policies and procedures and other applicable standards. Helps to maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment. May provide coverage for child/teacher ratios when teaching staff must leave the classroom for breaks, meetings, and/or planning time.
No prior education or experience is required for this position.
Metro locations include Washington County and Multnomah County sites. Placement within the range is determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
