We are seeking a passionate and engaging Mandarin-speaking teacher to provide Mandarin language instruction to children twice per week. The ideal candidate will create a fun, immersive, and age-appropriate learning environment that encourages students to develop listening, speaking, reading, and cultural awareness skills in Mandarin Chinese.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver interactive Mandarin language lessons for children.
Introduce students to Mandarin vocabulary, pronunciation, basic conversation, songs, games, and cultural activities.
Create a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Adapt lessons to meet the developmental and learning needs of students.
Encourage participation and help students build confidence in speaking Mandarin.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and/or program administrators as needed.
Prepare lesson materials and classroom activities.
Maintain classroom organization and ensure student safety at all times.
Candidates must be native or fluent Mandarin speakers with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Experience teaching young children and strong classroom management skills are highly desired.
