Market context
In New Jersey, assistant teacher openings are often tied to ongoing staffing needs in schools and child care settings, so candidates with prior experience in a school, licensed child care center, or nursery are commonly competitive. This role can be especially selective because employers also require the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and to pass a background check and local child care regulatory requirements. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your experience and readiness for compliance steps before applying.
