Provides instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues. The Perinatal Education Instructor is a nurse with advanced training and skill in Maternal-Child Nursing or a specific allied health field. Works with women of child‑bearing ages.
REQUIRED Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) PREFERRED International certification in childbirth education or related field. Prior clinical and adult education experience. Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR Work Hours: 8AM-5PM
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Georgia Registered Nurse license and BLS certification. International certification in childbirth education and prior adult education experience are preferred.
