The Early Childhood Classroom Teacher shall report to the On-Site Manager to meet the needs of the families of the program and implement an excellent early childhood kindergarten preparatory program.
Implements daily lesson plans and maintains daily class schedule Ensures daily communication is maintained with parents through communication logs, calendars, newsletters, office notes. Establishes daily connection with students. Ensures daily communication with on site manager. Completes daily record keeping. Ensures daily maintenance of classrooms and submits classroom needs to Manager. Attends staff meetings and on-going trainings. Assists in lesson planning. Assists and attends program events. Works directly with on site manager to identify needs and developmental goals for each student. Works directly with on site manager to implement family education and support. Builds community relationships and interact professionally on behalf of Jordan Valley Early Childhood Education Center. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all children, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment and exhibits love for children and families. Works to build the overall development of the child through engaging instruction and interaction using the resources provided. Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Center’s ability to meet its goals and objectives. Promotes the education and development of students, interns, residents, apprentices, and other new staff by sharing expertise, responding to questions, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Center’s overall mission. Required Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License. Pediatric First-Aid, CPR and AED certification within 90 days of hire
Trained in and/or experience in an Early Childhood or Daycare setting. Associate's degree
