The substitute teacher will foster a nurturing and peaceful environment in Toddler and Preschool classrooms. Key duties include modeling positive behaviors, supporting group activities, and facilitating smooth transitions for students.

About the Position

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking an on-call, Substitute Assistant Teacher to work in our Toddler and Preschool classrooms. You will work as part of a supportive team to foster a nurturing, caring, stimulating, and peaceful environment. This includes: Modeling positive behaviors and kindness for children Supporting group time and outdoor play Facilitating smooth transitions throughout the day Preparing engaging learning materials Helping children with independence milestones Supporting language development, social and emotional learning, and executive functioning skills Making the learning environment a lovely and inviting place to be

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, 12 Early Childhood Education units, and bilingual proficiency in Mandarin. Previous teaching experience and a successful criminal background check are also required.
