The Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach is responsible for the oversight of athletic training; strength and conditioning workouts; providing technical support and training to athletes, as appropriate to the sport. Coaches have responsibilities not only to the students under their supervision, but also to the parents, the school, and the community.

Exhibits and mentors the student-athletes in good sportsmanship and fair play. Attends the rules interpretation meeting and training. Attends mandatory coaches’ meetings. Monitors the conduct of their student-athletes during practice games. Provides a safe environment for the student-athletes by checking the playing area and equipment before each practice and game/competition. Prevents injuries through thoughtful balanced workouts. Instructs student-athletes in the basic rules and fundamentals of the sport. Assists in implementing training programs for the Athletic Development Program. Implements athlete registration and evaluations and maintains the evaluation database. Upholds Crystal’s core values. Fosters an inclusive team environment. Travel Required Light travel between the MS and US campuses. Travel to and from competitions in the Bay Area, and potential overnight travel for regional and state competitions within California (if the team qualifies). Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree and valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Preferred candidates have at least three years of related experience and a background in football or flag football.
