About the role

The Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds and implementing curriculum to prepare them for Kindergarten. They must ensure daily care by following licensing guidelines and maintaining effective communication with families.

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are

Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.

Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.

Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.

Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have

Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.

Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.

The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.

Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

Candidates need an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA in Preschool. Experience in a licensed childcare center and the ability to perform physical activities with children are required.
