As a Lead Teacher, you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children. You will help guide children's growth while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Our teachers help create a positive classroom culture while supporting children's emotional, social, and developmental needs.
Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of children at all times Maintain classroom ratios and supervision standards Support a positive and nurturing classroom environment Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities Lead activities such as storytime, centers, music, and play-based learning Encourage children to follow classroom rules and routines Monitor children's development and progress Communicate professionally with parents and leadership Uphold Magic Memories policies, procedures, and core values
Position Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education (infant, toddler, or preschool age).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma are also considered; pay will vary based on experience.
CDA
Pathway: $0.50/hour increase upon CDA enrollment, with an additional $0.50/hour after completion. Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with colleagues and build positive relationships with families. Genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s growth and development. Flexibility, organization, and a positive attitude in a dynamic classroom environment.
