The Teacher Assistant supports the classroom teacher in supervising children and implementing the educational curriculum. They are responsible for engaging children in activities, maintaining health and safety standards, and communicating progress to parents.
The Child Development Center's is seeking a Teacher Assistant who reports directly to the Executive Director of the Child Development Center and the Classroom Teacher. The Teacher Assistant is a full time, 10-month position, who works 8 hours per day and is responsible for assisting the teacher in the supervision of children as well as assisting with the planning and implementation of the curriculum.
This is a full-time, grant-funded position.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Salary is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The salary range for this position is $26,793 - $43,961.
