About the role

The Clubhouse Manager assists the head coach with baseball equipment management and the maintenance of Division 1 quality facilities. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory, assisting with on-field drills, and coordinating travel and baseball camps.

  • Duties: The position of Extra Help/Clubhouse Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of baseball equipment as well as the baseball facilities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience: Must have at least one year of baseball playing; Must have coaching experience. Job

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the inventory and ordering/replacing of all necessary game equipment Assisting with practice duties included but not limited to BP throwing, fungo drills, set up / tear down of field equipment, implementation of on field drills Help provide opponent scouting reports and video Maintain facilities and playing field to ensure Division 1 quality for the student athletes Oversee player uniform organization as well as equipment Work on field maintenance such as mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization, and irrigation Assist Head Coach with day to day maintanence of the baseball facility Assist with organization of travel details and reconciliation of receipts Organize, plan, and recruit attendees for baseball camps Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ambitious, motivated self-starter attitude who enjoys meeting and training lots of people; energy to operate in a fast-paced baseball training environment Mature and efficient communication skills across oral, written, typing, and texting, with demonstrated ability to adjust communication tone and delivery based on audience Empathetic, with an ability to understand players' unique coaching needs and tailor approach accordingly Ability and flexibility to work nontraditional business hours including evenings and weekends.
