About the role

Provide academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of K-8 students in core subjects like reading, writing, and mathematics. Collaborate with school coordinators and teachers to align instruction with the current school curriculum.

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Group Tutor to join our team at a single, dedicated school site. In this role, you will provide vital academic support to elementary and middle school students (grades K-8) in an engaging, in-person group setting. Our ideal candidate is passionate about youth education, skilled at managing diverse group dynamics, and committed to helping students build confidence and academic strength in a collaborative, after-school environment. Schedule & Logistics Hours: After-school hours (potentially 3 to 3.5 hours per day).

Commitment

3 to 4 days per week (final schedule TBD).

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary and/or middle school-aged youth in group environments).

  • Mode: Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site.

  • Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect naturally with children, teenagers, parents, and school staff. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and at least two years of experience tutoring or teaching youth in group settings. Candidates must pass an FBI-DOJ background check and provide a negative TB test result.
