Description We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teacher to support our K-12 Homeschool program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to personalized education and help foster a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will be flexible, resourceful, and committed to maintaining high educational standards in a home-based setting.

High school diploma or equivalent Attend RMCA substitute teacher training with Director Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing attitude Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom environments Knowledge of homeschooling principles
Maintain a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of the students. Implement effective lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Ensure that RMCA policies are observed during all activities. Create a safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Keep all children in the classroom under supervision at all times. Be familiar with fire exits, fire drill procedures, severe storm and tornado warning procedures. Review notes for the day, take attendance and follow the lesson plans of the teacher. Maintain confidentiality as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Demonstrate the ability to adapt to circumstances. Exhibit good judgment and use appropriate language or behavior while on assignment. Report for duty 30 minutes early and remain on duty for the entire assignment, including planning time of the teacher.
