The Middle School Flex Teacher provides direct instruction in science and social studies while integrating ELA and Math standards. They are responsible for managing classrooms, implementing student education plans (IEPs/504s), and maintaining communication with families and staff.
Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Principal, the PSOE Middle School Flex Teacher is responsible for direct instruction through curriculum implementation, lesson planning, data disaggregation, and classroom management. They will teach science and social studies with cross curricular ELA and Math standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with individual student Education Plans, Section 504 Plans, etc. They will ensure operational and functional knowledge of best practices in education while teaching assigned middle school subjects and grade levels.
