As a School Age Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to: Develop and facilitate engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that ignite excitement, creativity, and exploration among School Age children . Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment in compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures. Provide guidance, encouragement, and support to students as they embark on adventures, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging in our community. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere where campers, parents, and visitors feel welcomed and valued. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing updates, insights, and highlights of their child's experience. Guide campers through all activities with positivity, enthusiasm, and empathy, using positive reinforcement and appropriate discipline techniques. Keep classroom facilities clean, organized, and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all students and staff. Keep accurate records of attendance, participation, and achievements, celebrating each camper's progress and accomplishments throughout the summer.
Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
