The Early Intervention Specialist for Low Vision and Blindness provides specialized support services to infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) with visual impairments and their families. The specialist works collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote the child’s development and maximize their functional vision and orientation and mobility skills in natural environments.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Vision Rehabilitation, or a related field. Preference is given to candidates with TVI or COMS certifications and experience working with infants and toddlers.
