Description Woodlands Academy is seeking a Varsity Softball Coach for the 206-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to effectively relate and communicate to diverse constituents a high level of knowledge about the fundamentals and strategies of softball to the student athletes of Woodlands Academy.

The Varsity Softball Coach will report to the Athletic Director and join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced athletic department.
include: Provide leadership that promotes positive attitudes and good sportsmanship Notifies all members of the team of all Woodland’s Academy Athletic Program policies, procedures, and training rules as they pertain to the team Implements programmatic instruction of sequential fundamentals and proper conditioning for all levels of the program Plan and communicate to Junior Varsity practice sessions and competition strategies which ensure the health and physical well-being of student participants Coordinates in conjunction with the Athletic Director game schedules, practice schedules, team tryouts, meetings, team workouts, and conditioning sessions Maintains the proper supervision of student athletes at practices, games, in locker rooms, and on school provided transportation Conducts a mandatory preseason parent meeting Coordinates the distribution, care, inventory, and collection of uniforms and equipment Maintains individual and team records and statistics In conjunction with the Athletic Director, plans and implements a seasonal awards recognition program through the athletic office
