Jovie Seattle, WA, USA

Summary

A bit about us: We are a laid-back, welcoming Seattle family looking for a nurturing nanny to care for our infant daughter as we transition back to work this fall. Both parents work in the tech industry, with Mom working from home full-time and Dad working from home a few days each week, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable partnering with parents who are present throughout the day while still confidently taking the lead on childcare. We value open communication, honesty, humor, and creating a positive working relationship where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and working together. Our home is a multi-level townhome with nearby parks, and we enjoy spending our free time cooking at home, watching movies, and maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

A bit about you

You are a calm, attentive, and engaging nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and understands the importance of following routines while supporting early development. You bring a peaceful presence that helps babies feel secure, while also having the energy to keep up with an active little one who loves movement and interaction. You're confident working in a home where parents are working remotely, communicate openly, and appreciate regular check-ins before and after each day. You're physically comfortable carrying an infant throughout the day, navigating multiple flights of stairs, and enjoying daily stroller walks. Above all, you're dependable, safety-minded, and committed to providing loving, attentive care.

Job Duties

This position is centered around providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for one infant throughout the workday. Responsibilities include bottle feeding and cleaning bottles and bottle parts, following established feeding and sleep routines, engaging in age-appropriate play, encouraging developmental milestones, taking daily stroller walks, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Additional responsibilities include the baby's laundry, keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organized, and maintaining open communication with the parents through brief daily check-ins and ongoing collaboration about schedules, milestones, and upcoming appointments or activities. This is a childcare-focused role with an emphasis on consistency, communication, and creating a positive daily routine. “Text NANNY to 206-752-6917 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.
