We are willing to train the right person! Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working with children in a group setting. We are looking for someone who has the following skills: A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly. Verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and reading skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task. Team-oriented and willing to work with others.
Education Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Must meet state Pre-K education requirements, some options include Teacher Assistant Training Program approved by the RI Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, college coursework relevant to the early childhood education program, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or college credits in Education, Child Development, Human Services, Recreation or related field. We will train the right person and offer opportunities to gain a degree or college credits!
