Market context

Part-time OT roles in California remain competitive

California part-time occupational therapist roles are often driven by school-based and pediatric staffing needs, especially when districts need support for elementary-age students with disabilities. These openings can be competitive because employers typically look for a California OT license, relevant degree, and experience with school-age students, along with practical requirements like a valid driver’s license. Before applying, confirm the student population and schedule fit, and note that the requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description to save research time.
