We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our special needs students. In this role, you will have the chance to use your skills and experience to provide individualized support and help our students achieve their full potential. Special Education Teacher Responsibilities & Duties Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success Implement positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) and other behavior management strategies Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment Be able to interpret and explain student data and progress monitoring Experience using technology and multimedia resources in the classroom Stay current on best practices and developments in special education QualificationsSpecial Education Teacher Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Valid state certification or license as a Special Education Teacher Strong knowledge of individualized education plans and behavior management strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues BakerRipley is an equal opportunity employer/program. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field and a valid state certification or license. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of behavior management strategies and excellent communication skills.
