About the role

Provide clinical supervision for dental students and residents within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health. Conduct didactic lecturing as required to support academic clinicians.

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences seeks a vibrant pediatric dentist to join our passionate team of academic clinicians. This is a part-time, non-tenure Open Rank Professor position. This position provides primarily clinical supervision of dental students and residents, although some didactic lecturing may be required.

Requirements

Must hold a DDS, DMD, or international equivalent and be eligible for a Tennessee dental license. Preference is given to board-certified or board-eligible pediatric dentists with experience in hospital dentistry.
