At the work site, job coaches are expected to learn and perform the same tasks on the job as the students, work alongside them (modeling how the tasks should be performed) and then eventually fade the level of support as appropriate for each student.
Job coaches set up a weekly meeting time (10-15 minutes) with the work site supervisor to review student progress and collect written reports of progress monthly.
