The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing quality, developmentally-appropriate early education to prepare children for kindergarten. This role includes lesson planning, daily activity scheduling, and serving as an Assistant Group Supervisor as needed.
Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency in Butler, PA is currently hiring a full-time (12 month) Preschool Teacher who will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, to prepare children for kindergarten. Normal hours are 8 am until 4:30 pm at our childcare center - year round position.
This preschool teacher position will assist in the classroom with lesson planning, scheduling, and daily activities. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a quality-driven, developmentally-appropriate early education experience that supports all children regardless of their diverse abilities, and their families.
This position will also serve in the capacity of Assistant Group Supervisor (child care staff) as needed to meet ratio in a particular classroom and float throughout the different preschool classrooms, if needed in Butler center.
