Your role and Impact

  • Demonstrate: Deliver lectures and lead labs, using your clinical experience to prepare students for real-world scenarios.

  • Success: Maintain an 80% student success rate by monitoring progress, mentoring at-risk students, and reducing course withdrawals.
  • Curriculum
  • Implementation: Execute lesson plans aligned with program objectives, integrating guest speakers and field trips to enhance learning.

  • Mentorship: Advise students on curriculum paths and coordinate externship opportunities to bridge the gap between school and clinical practice.

  • Administration: Maintain accurate grades and attendance records, and ensure all activities meet accreditation standards.

What you bring to Pima Medical Institute

Credentials: Active RRT and State RCP license.

Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. (Teaching experience is preferred, but a passion for education is essential).

Education: Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Requirements

Requires an active RRT and State RCP license with at least 3 years of hospital clinical experience. An associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program is required, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
